PlayStation Portable (oficiálne označovanou skratkou PSP) je prenosná herná konzola. Primárne je učená k hraniu hier. Na PSP je tiež možné prehrávať video a audio záznamy a prezerať obrázky uložené na pamäťovej karte Memory Stick Pro Duo alebo optickom diskuUniversal Media Disc.
Sony vyvinula celkom 3 typy tejto konzoly:
Prvý označovaný ako Sony PSP Fat (PSP-1000)- na Európsky trh uvedený 1. Septembra 2005. Druhý Sony PSP Slim & Lite (PSP-2000) - uvedený v roku 2007 ktorý je výrazne menší, ľahší a s pridaným výstupom pre možné pripojenie k televízoru. V tejto verzii bol odstránený Infra Port. Tretí Sony PSP - 3000 Slim&Lite (PSP-3000)- uvedený na európsky trh v Októbri 2008 má zlepšený displej na ktorom je lepšia viditeľnosť na priamom slnku. Ďalej bol pridaný mikrofón pre telefonovaní cez program Skype alebo pre hry ktoré ho podporujú (napr. SOCOM), má o niečo vyššiu spotrebu energie. Najnovší model PSP je PSP Go. Dá sa zakúpiť aj kamera s fotoaparátom, s názvom Go!Cam.
